Well, I arrived at Singapore on Saturday arvo and what did I see? Some crazy taxi driver who drove like a mad man. Tail gating, speeding and taking two lanes! WTF?! Guess I should have expected this but I’m too used to Australia’s strict road laws.
Reached at Takashi’s love shack which consisted of 3 rooms, 2 bath, one lounge and a kitchen. Unfortunately I was given the lounge which had 3 single lounge chairs that made my bed. First night took some time to get used to as the place was tiled and everytime I moved on the “bed” the couches would split and the only thing I had was just the middle chair to support my back. OMG!
Anyway, what did we do when I arrived? Hit Holland village for the hawker stalls and hit the local pub. The only thing that resembled Holland in that Village was one Windmill on top of a building… The rest of the village was hawker stalls, pubs and restraunts
Well, so far so good, now to see what else can be done in Singapore
