That’s it, it’s confirmed. I absolutely hate Brunei, ok ok it’s more like I absolutely hate shopping with my family. It is worse when it has the combined force of my sister and mom combination arguing with each other where one is trying to out do the other with their “shopping” abilities. FFS, who gives the fuck if there is a photo frame elsewhere that “could” be better. And the fucking walking around to every fucking single shop which has absolutely nothing fucking useful. C’mon Brunei is seriously sub-par compared to Singapore, KL, etc and yet they still want to shop around? I missed out on good old fishing with my grandmother for that crap?! Geeeeeezzzzzzzzz…… and the next time she is fishing is after chinese new year which is in two weeks time!!! !@#$#@!@##@#%%^#@
Going back to the shops, it just disgusts me how things don’t change around here instead it just gets old. You think Perth is pretty bad with progressing, just take a look at Brunei. We drove past all these buildings which were built more than 30-40 years old and yet its still operating. Starting to think they are all heritage listed but I doubt it. We went to this building called the Soon-Lin Megamart which used to be called Yaohan back in the days when I was young. Brought back memories where mom would purposely lose me in the shops and I’d eventuated running back to the car and waited for her there. Ok, I tell a lie, maybe she didn’t purposely lose me but heck, it did feel like it.
What made it worse is that it’s nearly chinese new year, so everybody is in preparation of the reunion dinner. That means all the food places are closed!!!
I hate Brunei!!!
